Le mycophénolate mofétil (inactif) subit une complète métabolisme présystémique active MPA , plus le métabolisme à des formes inactives, dont certains subissent la circulation entérohépatique la production d'un deuxième pic de l'amp. La cirrhose alcoolique (parenchyme les dommages cellulaires) ne semble pas affecter le métabolisme de l'amp à des formes inactives. Maladie hépatique/dysfonctionnement dû à d'autres étiologies peuvent induire des effets différents.
