L'utilisation de la pénicillinase-résistant aux pénicillines a été associée à des effets hématologiques, y compris la neutropénie, la leucopénie, granulocytopénie et la thrombocytopénie, surtout dans la haute administration parentérale de doses. Des cas d'agranulocytose et prolongée du temps de saignement ont été rarement rapportés. La thérapie avec la pénicillinase-pénicillines résistantes doit être administré avec prudence chez les patients souffrant déjà de dyscrasie sanguine ou de la dépression de la moelle osseuse, et la fonction hématopoïétique doit être surveillé. Un hémogramme avec formule leucocytaire doit être effectué avant l'initiation du traitement et de 1 à 3 fois par semaine au cours de la thérapie. Les anomalies hématologiques sont généralement réversibles et disparaissent en quelques jours à deux semaines après l'arrêt du traitement.
