Les diurétiques thiazidiques peuvent une augmentation du taux sérique de triglycérides et de cholestérol, principalement des LDL et des VLDL. Si ces effets sont liés à la dose et soutenue au cours de la thérapie chronique sont inconnus. Les Patients souffrant déjà de l'hyperlipidémie peuvent nécessiter une surveillance plus étroite au cours thiazidiques thérapie, et d'apporter les ajustements en conséquence dans leur hypolipidémiant régime
