Certains récepteurs bêta-adrénergiques bloquants (c'est à dire, non bêta-bloquants cardioselective) sont contre-indiqués dans les patients avec l'asthme bronchique ou avec des antécédents d'asthme bronchique ou une grave maladie pulmonaire obstructive chronique.
