L'utilisation d'hydralazine a été associée avec le développement du lupus érythémateux disséminé lupus et syndrome semblable, ainsi que l'exacerbation de la maladie. Hydralazine traitement doit être retirée dans les patients subissant une aggravation de l'affection préexistante de lupus. Surveillance de la numération globulaire, et antinucléaires titres d'anticorps avant et pendant un traitement prolongé est recommandé.
